Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy uses high-energy acoustic pulses to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. It increases blood flow, breaks down scar tissue, and accelerates recovery in stubborn injuries like tendinopathies, plantar fasciitis, and chronic muscle pain.
At High Octane Training and Therapy, we typically use shockwave therapy as an add-on to physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage sessions to enhance tissue repair, reduce pain, and restore movement, especially when progress has plateaued with traditional care.

Omar Ahmadzai RMT
Omar’s history in athletics extended to multiple sports including soccer, track and field, kick-boxing, swimming, sky running and tennis to name a few. He received his first two degrees in Italy before moving to Canada in April 2017. Once in Canada, he accomplished two other college programs to become a manual osteopath and massage therapist within 2 years. Concurrently, he was (and is) taking international courses to develop a better understanding of the complexity of organ manipulation.
Omar’s work experience started in Italy as an Athletic Trainer for tennis players. He continued down this path and became the head personal training and health fitness intrusion for local gyms. Once he obtained the degrees in Sports Science and the diplomas as a massage therapist in Italy, he became the Movement Specialist and Therapist for a private rehabilitation centre alongside the lake of Lecco and Como, Italy.
Once Omar moved to Canada, he worked for X3 Lab as a therapist for Triathalon athletes and Osteoklinika for the general public in Toronto, ON. All while never stopping to educate himself in the field of natural body building, fitness and nutrition.
As part of his newest ventures, he decided to move to Sudbury to practice osteopathy and massage therapy. He brings forth the idea of a bio-structural approach treating people with a combination of Bioflex Laser Therapy and Manual treatment to optimize healing and recovery.

“My philosophy is simple: no wasted effort, no cookie-cutter workouts. Every client has different goals, so every plan should feel like it’s designed with purpose. I’ve lived the athlete’s life where every rep mattered, and I carry that same mindset into coaching. I don’t just want people to sweat and leave; I want them to understand why they’re doing something, see progress they can feel, and leave here stronger than they came in. For me, the best part of coaching is watching someone light up when they realize they can move better, train harder, and enjoy life more.”
